Administrative
Philip G. Rahrig, B.S., Executive/Marketing Director prahrig@galvanizeit.org x12 As the executive director, Phil Rahrig is responsible for the execution of the marketing and technical mission of the association and the development of the environmental image and position of the industry. In addition, he is the galvanizing industry liaison to the worldwide zinc, financial, and investment community.
Sue Bieber, Office Manager/Bookkeeper sbieber@galvanizeit.org x11 Sue Bieber's job duties include bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, human resources, and miscellaneous office operations. Contact Sue to order AGA publications.
Marketing
Melissa Lindsley - Marketing Manager mlindsley@galvanizeit.org x16 Melissa is responsible for the execution of AGA marketing programs, trade show management, market research, development and execution of online marketing strategies, and overseeing the AGA marketing department. Additionally, Melissa provides technical assistance to member galvanizers regarding the after-fabrication hot-dip galvanizing process and coating performance, and assists architects, specifiers, and engineers on the proper way to design projects when planning to hot-dip galvanize steel.
Jenny Clawson - Marketing Coordinator jclawson@galvanizeit.org x15 Jenny's duties include managing industry media relations, publication production, database management, annual meetings management and event planning, tradeshow management, and the development of the quarterly specifier e-newsletter.
Cecile Elliott - Marketing Coordinator celliott@galvanizeit.org x13 Cecile is responsible for coordinating the continuing education seminar program, database management, publication production, annual meetings event planning, and designing the monthly member e-newsletter, AGA Update.
Technical
Thomas J. Langill, Ph.D., Technical Director tlangill@galvanizeit.org x14 Dr. Tom Langill presents technical information to the corrosion protection industry and to the metal coatings industry. He informs and educates the galvanizing membership on the technology of hot-dip galvanizing while presenting the industry position on standards through the American Society of Testing & Materials (ASTM) and the International Standards Organization (ISO).
Bernardo Duran III - Corrosion Engineer bduran@galvanizeit.org x21 Bernardo is responsible for providing assistance regarding technical issues and the processing of hot-dip galvanized steel. Bernardo will also write reports on technical topics such as acid recycling, corrosion and inspection of metals, and welding fumes as they arise. Additionally, Bernardo will conduct process seminars for members.
Christine Kleen - Environmental, Health, & Safety Senior Engineer ckleen@galvanizeit.org x19 Christine is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that provide environmental and safety education to members, as well as defining trends in workplace incidents to make recommendations to reduce or eliminate potential workplace hazards. Additionally, Christine will conduct process seminars for members and provide technical assistance regarding environmental and safety issues. |
