galvanized steel in use:  excellence awards

The AGA celebrates excellence and innovation in the use of hot-dip galvanizing with the yearly presentation of its Excellence in Hot-Dip Galvanizing awards, presented at the association's annual conference awards banquet.  Winning projects represent the finest achievement in the use of hot-dip galvanizing in project design and concept.  Entry is open and available to anyone -- including members and non-members, galvanizers, engineering firms, architectural companies, other specifiers, etc. -- who has a member-galvanized project to submit.

Thirteen award categories are recognized, in addition to the "most distinguished" project -- awarded to the most outstanding galvanized project of the year.  Entries are judged by an independent panel of architects, engineers, and other industry experts knowledgeable about hot-dip galvanizing. The judges evaluate each entry based on galvanizer-submitted applications and a strict list of criteria developed by the AGA.

To learn  more,  view previous winning projects, or submit a project for consideration, please go to the Excellence Awards page of our site.
