ThinkZinc continuing education presentation

As a world-leading informational resource for the hot-dip galvanizing industry since 1935, the AGA has compiled a vast amount of technical information. The AGA is committed to educating both current and future specifiers about the benefits of hot-dip galvanizing.  For more than 25 years, the AGA has been providing a free continuing education seminar for architects, engineers, and other specifiers. The Galvanize It! seminar series is registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) for Professional Development Hours (PDHs), and the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) as an approved source of continuing education credit. Additionally, the AGA has been interacting with and educating future specifiers for more than 7 years through its university program and other initiatives.

In addition to the education programs, the AGA has an extensive technical library of articles, studies, and documentation as well as more than 40 publications. The AGA routinely publishes technical FAQs (Dr Galvs) as well as KnowledgeBase articles addressing common specifier questions. Other resources include a free quarterly email newsletter for architects, engineers and specifiers, routinely published articles in numerous magazines and journals, information on the corrosion process and data on corrosion rates, and tools for analyzing the service life of hot-dip galvanized steel in various environments. Finally, the AGA conducts an annual Awards Program and publishes myriad project examples and case studies in the AGA Project Gallery.
